My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Marvin Williams  … AT THIS LINK …   tlls of how scientists have determined, from studying the acoustics of the cries of babies <b>(see photo)</b>, that their cries mean different things depending on the needs of the child.  

Duh!!! … Shouldn’t we really know that from taking in the truths from God’s word <b>(see Scriptures above)</b>, … since our God hears and responds to the cries of His children in need.  So, if any of my readers are in desperate need of God’s help, I pray we cry out to God in prayer, knowing that He hears our cries.

My Devotional Journal:</b> Today's Our Daily Bread author, Bill Crowder  … AT THIS LINK …  tells of being afraid of bullies on the playground when the author was eight years old; … but coming to learn and lean on God’s strength in his later years to overcome the fearful lies of Satan and the world.  

And if my readers have taken in and believed the song of Zach Williams sings, linked above, and the truth of God’s word, shared above, … I pray we all KNOW that nothing can come before us that our God cannot handle.  Isn’t our God big enough to handle any of our fears?  I say, YES!  How about you?

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Raybon   … AT THIS LINK …  tells of s msn, James Warren, in Denver who saw a woman sitting in the dirt at a bus stop; and having compassion on the woman, Warren used his wood-working skills to make a bench for the bus stop which had the words “Be Kind” on it (see photo).  And following that, Warren made many other such benches for the Denver area.  

And that story certainly illustrates what today’s ODB entry teaches, … that we, as Christ’s disciples are charged and challenged by God’s word to take on Christlike compassion, showing our Lord’s love and grace by the way we reach out to help others whenever we can.  Very simply, … that’s the way Jesus treated others  - with compassion <(see Scriptures above); and if compassion is the way of Christ, it should be our way too.  So, what can we do today to show the love/grace of Christ to others?

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson   … AT THIS LINK … tells of how stock car driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr felt so lost when His father was killed in a race - the Daytona 500.  At that time, Dale Jr said,  “Having Dad was like knowing all the answers.”

And that fearful feeling of loss Dale Earnhardt, Jr had was probably like that of Christ’s disciples when Jesus told them He would be leaving them.  But the Lord promised His disciples that He would leave them the Holy Spirit to dwell in them and lead them to follow the Lord to glory.  Oh how I pray that all reading with me here know - and believe - the truths of God’s word copied above, … reminding us of God’s promise to dwell in all born-again Christians, and giving us all the answers and direction we need to follow our Lord and serve His kingdom.
