My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Bill Crowder, AT THIS LINK uses the common imagery of “dragons” to illustrate the fears we have of dire circumstances in our lives; and how we, as Christians, have the Power of God’s Spirit in us to overcome those fears.
That’s why I like the attached image of the gentle kitty cat in the photo, showing that we Christians have the “Lion of Judah,” … i.e., the power of Christ, in us, … a power greater than any in the world, and a power who has overcome any “dragon” we might face in this world.
So, I pray that all reading with me here today will meditate and realize the truth of God’s word in the Scriptures above as well as what Chris Tomlin sings in the linked song so that we can move forward to release the power we have in us as Christians to overcome our fears in these challenging times.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving me Your power to slay my “dragons.”
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me to use the resurrection power of God’s Spirit to seek out and destroy the fear dragons we face today. … Amen
