My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey, AT THIS LINK … tells of two Chinese Christian men, brothers in Christ, one born blind and the other born without legs, who have come together to become a team working for God’s glory by planting trees (see photo), each using what God has given them to work in unity for God’s glory.
And this story of the two Christian brothers, coming together to use what they’ve each been given, is a good human picture of what the Body of Christ, i.e., His Church, should be on earth, … using our many individual talents/gifts in unity to serve the Lord and work TOGETHER for His glory.
And if my readers have taken in the linked song and the often repeated teachings of the Apostle Paul, in the Scriptures above, I think you’ll be challenged, as am I, to ask ourselves if we are actively surrendered to use what God has given each of us and to work together with other Christians to serve our Lord more effectively in unity.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for using the gifting and talents You’ve given me, Lord, to work together with my brothers and sisters in Your body to serve You today.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to come together with others in Your body to serve You today. … Amen
