My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread author , Leslie Koh  AT THIS LINK , tells of how the many soldiers in England’s armed services who were chosen to serve in the Queen’s funeral (see photo) felt so honored to serve their Queen and their country no matter what they were assigned to do in the Queen’s funeral.

Do we realize the importance of our work for the Lord as we carry out our daily duties today to glorify our Lord?  I pray we do; … and I’m also praying we do all we can, as Matthew West sings, to DO SOMETHING today to honor our Lord and His calling to serve Him; …  yes, today and all days!   Let’s all meditate on the Scriptures above and then let’s go out today and DO SOMETHING to honor our Lord with whatever work we choose to do to honor our King Jesus.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your calling to work today for Your glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, …to honor Your calling today, Lord, by working for Your glory.   … Amen .
