My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Kirsten Holmberg -  AT THIS LINK  -told of a young lady, named Krystal who got a job working for a diner.  And Krystal discovered that one of her regular customer, Ibby, was hearing impaired and had to write out his order.   And so, knowing that she, Krystal, had a gift for languages, Krystal learned, and began to use, deaf-sign language to help Ibby order his meals in the diner.  

That ODB story shows ua that we Christians need to use the gifts that God gives us, from God’s Spirit, to serve the Lord and others in our world.  And that’s my prayer for all of us today.                           

My THANKFULNESS ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your gifts of encouragement and teaching to serve others for Your glory.                     

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... .Again, I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to more effectively serve You and Your kingdom, Lord.       … Amen
