My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Mike Wittmer … AT THIS LINK  -    -  told of a Pastor preaching in a visiting church in New Orleans and being housed in a very nice hotel room during his stay;. However, .. the Pastor longed to be home and with his own family and his home pulpit.  

Today’s ODB entry uses the story of Jesus’ humble birth and the scriptures above, …showing that God’s word told of Jesus’ coming and of the Messiah’s birth to illustrate that we need to open up and make room for our Lord in our hearts as we live our lives.  In just a few weeks, we will celebrate the Birth of our King Jesus.  Does He have a room in our hearts for this Advent season and then, forever?  I pray so!            

                                                                    

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … thank You, for coming as a Baby to save me.  Yes, even me!   

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to celebrate Your humble birth, Lord, as we make room in our hearts to serve You forever.  …  Amen
