My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Xochitl Dixon … AT THIS LINK     …  related a story of being called on to sing a song before her son’s game.   And with the boy’s on the playing field and the large audience, the ODB author began singing the anthem but forgot a line and was helped by one of the team to remember the line and go on to finish the song.  

Many times we need help in life to go on in the correct way in life, don’t we?  And we, who know Christ as our Lord and Savior, have been given God’s Spirit to remind us and help us to follow God’s will and His way in life.  And if my readers have taken in the linked song, the ODB entry, and the Scriptures shared above, I’m praying - right here today - that we all tune in to God’s Spirit, and especially His truth in His word, to follow God’s way and His will for our lives every day.  I’m in for that; … how about you.

         

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me - and you too - who are surrendered to follow Christ, as we seek to let God’s Spirit lead us today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to seek and follow Your will, Lord, as we surrender to Your Spirit today.      … AMEN
