My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Tom Felton … AT THIS LINK … related a story about a Christian brother, named Brian, who was being seen for over an hour by a heart specialist about a serious heart condition; and a friend of Brian’s waited in the waiting room, praying that his friend would receive pertinent information about treatment for Brian’s heart problems. When Brian came out from seeing the Doc, he laid out several papers with instructions from the doctor, to which Brian declared, “Whatever lies ahead, I’m in God’s hands.”
And the ODB devotional entry for today, shared a similar situation in the Bible (see Highlight passage) about Hezekiah, King of Judah, who received a threatening letter from Assyria, the enemies of Judah. and immediately laid the letter out before God, praying for deliverance, which God heard and provided protection for God’s surrendered followers. And I’m praying … right here, … today, … that we all can - and will - take all our cares, worries, and concerns to God, as laid out in the Scriptures above, leaving all our concerns to The Lord. … And, … Let’s not hesitate; … let’s just do it!!
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for Your promises, Lord, to watch over and protect those who love and serve You.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all of us reading here, will willingly surrender our worries and concerns to You, Lord, thankfully surrendering ALL our concerns and receiving Your sanctifying grace. … AMEN
