My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Lisa M Samra … AT THIS LINK … Related how the area where the ODB author lived was blacked out with a power outage after a massive ice storm; and how the city looked for help from visiting area linemen who came with their trucks to help restore the power to the area. And a church even donated their large parking area to provide the trucks to have a command center from which to work.
And that story of God providing restored power reminded the ODB author of how many authors in God’s word (see Scriptures above), including Jesus Himself, show how we Christians are provided with God’s enabling grace and power to be His witnesses here on earth. Personally, that’s my calling; … how about you?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me Your power, Lord, thru Your Spirit and through Your word … to be Your witness today..
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … for giving us, as Your witnesses, Lord, Your enabling grace. … Amen
