My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Arthur Jackson …  USE THS LNK      …  described how recent brain research has shown that the pre-frontal cortex of the brain, the neural area necessary for reasoning, actually grows in neuronal capability from going through and enduring stress and suffering in life.

And isn’t that exactly what we get from God’s word In the scriptures shared above.   In John 16:33 Jesus, Himself, foretold to His disciples that they would undergo great pressures and stresses from this world. … BUT … He also promised them (and us) that HE would overcome the world; and by following HIM, we would become stronger.  And if my readers simply take in the linked song, Cory Asbury will lift you up with his message to pursue ONLY JESUS for our pain.  That’s what I plan to do again today.   How about you? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for Your giving me Your strength when I need it.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for growing us in Spirit when we trust and follow You thru the trials of life.   … Amen
