… God, thru John, teaches why the world does not recognize born-again believers as children of God, … not knowing our Heavenly Father as God as we Christians do.
My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Marvin Williams … AT THIS LINK … tells how a father whose son had brain surgery, leaving a noticeable scar on the side of his head ached with compassion. And telling his dad. the son felt like a monster, the father had a scar tattoo imprinted on his head to mirror his son’s scar and showing the father’s love and compassionate support for his son.
And that’s the kind of compassionate love that our Heavenly Father lavishes on us, doesn’t He? It’s the kind of love any good, good father would have for his son (see photo), isn’t it? As Chris Tomlin sings in the linked song, it’s the kind of love our Heavenly Father has lavished on us by giving His Son to save us (see John 3:16 and Romans 8:38-39)
And I pray that it’s the compassionate fatherly love all my readers experience when you read my words here each day. If not, when you truly get to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, you will feel our Father’s love EVERY DAY!!!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being my loving and compassionate Abba Father.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to lavish in the love and grace given to us daily by You, Lord, as our Heavenly Father. … Amen
