My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Karen Pimpo … AT THIS LINK … shows the force of man trying to control nature by seeing how botanical artisans reshape a larger tree into a smaller, reshaped, Bonsai tree (see photo) - by cutting and controlling the tree’s roots and branches.
And unfortunately that’s an all-too-accurate life picture of what we try to do in life, isn’t it? Our sin nature so often drives us to try to take control and do life as we see it rather than letting God be God and seeking His will and His omnipotent control.
So, taking in the linked song and God’s truths above, what in our lives do we need to relinquish and allow God’s plans to lead us in HIS righteous and purposeful paths? Personally I can think of a number of ways I can let go and let God, … how about you?
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for always being there to show me Your way when I open myself to follow You.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to let You, Lord, show us the way to go today. … Amen
