My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Karen Huang … AT THIS LINK … shares how the author was intimidated by the bullying of older girls at school until she learned and sensed that the name “Jesus” gave her courage to ignore the bullying.    

And that’s a truth all of us Christians need to learn, isn’t it?  It’s a truth related to believers in both the OLD and NEW Testaments … that there’s power in the Name of Jesus … because God’s Name is His character.  When we know Jesus’ Name, we know Him; and we know that we can go to that Name in times of trial as did today’s ODB author. 

And I’m stopping to pray here this morning that all who read with me have taken in the truth related in the linked song and the Scriptures above; and we all know and trust in the Name of our Lord, JESUS, to save us when we’re feeling fearful or weak.  We can - and should - trust in the Name of Jesus, Who will always be our strong tower, where we can run in times of trouble.  Perhaps some, … like me, … need to run to His mighty Name today.                  

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling and leading me to run to Your Name today.      

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to run to Your Name, Lord, any time we’re in trouble.    .… Amen
