My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Arthur Jackson… AT THIS LINK … tells of the courageous work of pilot, Joel Boyers, who flew a helicopter during the floods in Waverly, TN, in August of 2021 to save several fellow citizens who were stranded on their roof tops (see photo).        

And that’s a great human story to show how mankind can use what God has provided for us to reach out and bring others to safety in the midst of the storms of life.  But there is no greater rescue that that performed by our Savior when He came to save mankind from the storms of our sin in life, is there?

And we can read of one such rescue in the story of Jesus saving His disciples from a life threatening storm In Mark 4:35-41 above.  And as Rend Collective sings in the linked song, Jesus is our rescuer!  And as the Scriptures above teach, we must trust that our God is our rescuer from the storms we will confront in life.  And I pray that any today who are going thru one of those storms will trust that our God is there for us.                    

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for You, Lord, are the hope I have in my relationship with You.              

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to trust in the hope of Heaven we have, Lord, in the relationship we have with You.     .… Amen
