My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey … AT THIS LINK … tells of how many loyal viewers were disappointed by the resolution of the award-winning British TV series, Line Of Duty, which depicted the “bad guys” prevailing in the end, which demonstrated, according to Sociologist, Peter Berger, man’s desire for hope and justice in the world.       

And that was the desire of Jesus, wasn’t it, when He was asked how to pray by His disciple.  And that was what the Lord taught to His followers in His Sermon on the Mount (see Highlight passage)?  Yes, it was all Jesus ever wanted for those He ministered to on this earth and for eternity, which we see clearly in the Garden just before His death (see Luke 22:42).  And it’s what our Lord wants all of us (His born-again disciples) to desire in prayer for ourselves; and that is to know and follow God’s will.

So, … what are we willing to pray today to fulfill our Lord’s desire for us to obey Him and seek to follow His Father’s will?  Personally, that’s why I’m here writing, i believe, with the Spirit’s guidance from God’s word again today.  And I pray, …  “Oh Lord, Your will, … not mine, … be done today!”                

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me - and giving Your enabling grace - to fulfill Your will for my life today.    

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to seek and follow Your will, Lord, again today.  .… Amen
