My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks… AT THIS LINK … relates his delight in the imagination of his young son, … who, in seeing the trees blowing in the wind of an upcoming storm, said, “Look, Papa! Those trees are waving at God!” … And to that wonderful and heavenly insight, the ODB author wondered if he could ever have that kind of imaginative faith.
Like the ODB entry points us, and Bart Mallard sings in the linked song, have you ever stopped to imagine what heaven is going to be like? But when I meditate on the Scriptures above, I know that no matter how good I can envision it will be like in heaven, it ultimately will be infinitely greater and more glorious than I can ever imagine. So, all I can come up with right now as I contemplate the glory of the New Jerusalem, is a profoundly genuine ”HALLELUJAH!!!” … Will you join me?!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling and pursuing me to join You in glory!!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to contemplate the glory that lies ahead for those us us who have faith in Your finished work on the cross, Lord. .… Amen
