… Jesus teaches that the amount of our sacrificial giving will determine God reciprocity of blessing for those who give.

… Paul begs fellow Christians to give sacrificially to others in need as Christ has given His all to His chosen people.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … tells the story of a wealthy and generous couple in Neodesha, Kansas, who set up a tuition scholarship program for every hight school graduate for the next 25 years to promote academic motivation in Neodesha High School as well as to draw families and businesses to the area in the future.  

God’s word, in both the OT (see the highlight passage and the Proverbs above) as well as the NT (see Reference Scriptures above), clearly calls on God’s faithful to be willing to give generously and sacrificially to help others in need.  But do we give of our time, talents, and treasure to help others as God is calling us thru His word?  

I’ll let you all mull that question over with God’s Spirit today, … knowing how God truly loves a cheerful giver (2Cor 9:7)?                       

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … showing me how to be a living sacrifice to Your glory with my giving.          

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to give to help others the way You, Lord, have given to help us.       .… Amen
