My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Anne Cetas … AT THIS LINKtells of a 13YO Christian boy, named DeAvion, who decided to show his willingness to serve the Lord, during his summer vacation, by mowing the lawns of 50 people who needed that service but were unable, like the handicapped or for wounded veterans.

Does taking on a service challenge like that remind my readers of Anyone we Christians are called to emulate/  Well, DUH!  … Of course, that’s the challenge and charge which comes from Jesus being our model of humble service to others who need us to be like Christ when He washed the feet of His disciples (see highlight passage).

So, I’m asking myself - and I pray my readers are - to look for ways that we can take on the attitude of Christ (as Paul taught  in Phil 2:3-5) and humbly serve others.  So, join me today and let’s go out and wash some feet.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to serve others as You have served all of us.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to go out today and wash a few feet.        Amen               .
