My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Arthur Jackson … AT THIS LINKtells of some college friends being in Paris and becoming enthralled by seeing a painting titled The Disciples Peter and John Running to the Sepulchre on the Morning of the Resurrection by Eugène Burnand, (see photo of the painting), which depicts the Disciples Peter and John running desperately to see the grave of Jesus, after they had heard that His grave was empty.

And the faces of Peter and John in the photo depict the desperation of heart we - as seekers of God’s saving grace - should be running after Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  It certainly is my heart to be here every day running desperately to know my Lord thru His word.  How about you, ..  my friend, … do you run with me to seek to know Jesus today?   I pray so!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to run to know You, my Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to run together, as seekers after God’s heart, and to know You, Lord, as our resurrected Messiah.          Amen               .
