… In the OT sacrificial system only the blood of a pure animal would provide atonement for the sin of mankind, . a picture of what was to come when a Messiah would shed His blood for the sin of mankind.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks… AT THIS LINK … tells of the image of the moonflower (see photo), which blooms at night and then comes out to bloom in the sun for only one day, … being a reminder of the biblical teaching of Christ shedding His blood only once so that we, who believe in the Lamb of God, i.e., Jesus Christ, might have eternal life by the Lord’s single blood sacrifice. 

And I pray today that all reading with me here have come to believe. wholeheartedly, that Jesus was the Lamb of God, Who shed His blood on that cross in atonement for our sins, … giving up our all, as sung in the linked song, to receive God’s atoning and eternal saving grace.  

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for allowing to have Your eternal saving grace thru Your blood sacrifice for all mankind. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to bask in the eternal life we, who believe You were the sacrifice for our sin. have forever!  … AMEN
