My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Lisa M Samoa… AT THIS LINK …   tells of Major League Baseball player, Andrelton Simmons, who opted out of the 2020 season due to mental health issues, and who was quoted as saying, “Most people carry scars that others can’t see or understand.”  

And many of us, who’ve struggled with pain or anguish n our lives, can likely identify or empathize with that statement, can’t we?  And that’s what the ODB author is getting at by citing from King David’s anguish in Psalm 6; and from other biblical truths (cited above), where God promises to give His peace and hope to those who trust our Lord and follow Him faithfully.  So, I pray here this morning that all who read with me will take any pain or a time of weakness to the Lord and receive His hope and strength, … which He offers so freely and faithfully.      

 

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the hope of Your strength and comfort when I’m in pain or anguish.                               

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to seek Your strength, Lord, when we are weak or in pain.     … Amen
