My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Monica La Rose… AT THIS LINK … Uses competing movements in the fashion industry to illustrate two differing ways to look at life. One movement, the “fast fashion” approach, tries to see fashion being out of style almost immediately as new fashion is introduced to the market. The other, the so-called “slow fashion” approach emphasizes fashion of quality which will last a long time.
And the ODB entry today, points to search for peace in this world being a “slow fashion” movement … FOR SURE! … And, as my readers take in the linked song and the Scriptures above, it may be a good time to do a self-inventory asking ourselves if we have the peace that God offers to those who can - and do - take our anxieties and fears to the Lord for Him to provide us with His everlasting and long-lasting peace.
And that’s why you find me here - every morning - seeking to find my Lord’s eternal peace in my long -LONG- lasting relationship with Him. So, I’m stopping to pray that all of us have found a way to avoid the troubles and fears of this world and our selfish human mindset by focusing on God’s truth and our trusting relationship with Christ. Do you feel His peace today? If not, meditate seriously on the reference passages above, which is God giving us His prescriptions for seeking and find His peace.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me the way to peace thru Your word.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to use my focus on Your word, Lord, to seek Your peace, … Amen
