My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author , Kenneth Peterson - AT THIS LINK - writes of the Aztecs discovering that crushing a little white beetle could produce a red dye that could be used as a red dye to color many things in our world.
And Kenneth Peterson goes on, in his ODB entry today, telling of the color red being used in the Bible to depict Christ’s royalty, but also the scarlet shame of mankind’s sin. And then anyone, expressed in the Scriptures above, can - and will - be made white as snow by our saving faith in Christ’s shed blood to cover our scarlet sinfulness - see photo.
And … oh how I pray for you, my fellow readers here today, … as we take in the linked song and meditate on the Scriptures above, … that we join to share a robust ”HALLELUJAH”, gratefully remembering how Jesus’ blood ran red on the cross so that our faith in that blood can make us white as snow. Again, say it with me …”HALLELUJAH!!”<
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for shedding Your red blood to cleanse me of my sin thru my faith in You, Lord.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to praise God for Your red blood, Lord, shed on the cross for our sin. Amen
