My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author , John Blase -  AT THIS LINK -  used the story of a Christian brother in Italy, named Giuseppe Berardelli, who died in a hospital during the corona pandemic.  But, by those who knew Giuseppe, it was said that he would have gladly given up his bed in the hospital to anyone else to help them live, … the kind of love that Christ showed to all by dying for us.   

And when my readers take in the ODB entry, the linked song, and meditate on the Scriptures above, I’m sure you’ll be convicted, as was I, to ask if we really love others the way Jesus loved us, …  by being willing to die to save them.  And I pray that is our pursuit in our lives.  

           

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being willing to die to save us.
