My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author , Kirsten Holmberg -  AT THIS LINK -  shares how a teacher, Carrie, who spent many, many, hours in doing what it takes to humbly teach her students, found that humbly collaborating with fellow teachers helped give her more insight and wisdom than trying to go it alone.  

Carrie’s insight certainly seems to illustrate what Tim McGraw sings in the linked song and God’s word, thru many sources, like Solomon, the Prophet Micah, Jesus’ brother James, and Jesus, Himself, … calling on believers - i.e., disciple of Christ - to humbly become more like the Lord in service to others.  How about it, my fellow Christian; .. what is our quest today … to serve our own agenda … OR … to be more like Jesus and humbly serve others?   It’s our choice, isn’t it!! 

           

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to humbly serve You, Lord, by serving other by ALWAYS being humble and kind.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to reach out and humbly serve You, Lord, by serving others today.  Amen
