My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Elisa Morgan -  AT THIS LINK  -  tells of her daughter playing with her food at lunch, holding up a piece of Swiss cheese and looking thru the holes, … a comical scene but reminding the ODB author of how her life too often was a “holey” and foolish attempt to be holy as God is holy.  

And taking in the OBD devotional, the linked song, and the Scriptures I was led to take in today, I, for one, am convicted that I could be - and SHOULD BE - doing much more to surrender to God’s word and use God’s sanctifying and enabling grace to live for the Lord’s call on the lives of all Christians to be holy as God is Holy.  So, … are you with me to live with more attention, and intention, to live HOLY … not “holey” lives … today and tomorrow?                                                                          

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the direction of Your word and the power of Your Spirit to live for You, Lord, … in holiness.     

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, …to live with more attention, Lord, to honor Your holiness        … Amen
