My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Winn Coller -  AT THIS LINK  writes of what it must’ve been like for slaves in Texas when General Gordon Granger, following the orders of President Lincoln, who earlier had pronounce all slaves free by the Emancipation Proclamation, declared that all slaves held captive in Texas be set free.

And all I ask of my readers today into take in the linked song and say a prayer of thanksgiving,  remembering … and living out … the reality of what the Scriptures above declare … that ALL who believe in Christ as Lord and  Savior have been set free from our sin nature.
