My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … shares how an Anglican Bishop, preaching to students at Oxford University, taught them to recognize and sing the old Hymn, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” (see linked song) as loudly as they could to show they agreed with the lyrics completely … or as quietly as possible if they needed to change their lives to conform to the truths in the hymn.
Personally, I need to sing the words quietly now; but I desire to sing the words loudly one day soon. How loudly would you sing those words right now … today? I pray that one day we ALL will sing the words TOGETHER … loudly … from our surrendered faith in Christ.
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving Your all for my all as I follow You home to glory.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … for dying to give me life as I surrender to serve You. … Amen
