My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Nancy Gavilanes  … AT THIS LINK     … Writes about the first leap that Emperor Penguins take from the ice in Antartica into the icy waters (see photo), which has to be done in faith and following other penguins into the waters.   The ODB author likens the faith of the penguins to our leap of faith in plunging our lives by leaping - IN FAITH - to follow Christ all of our lives.   

Personally I took that leap of faith almost four decades ago.  How about you?  Have you taken that leap of faith into the icy waters of life, surrendering … IN FAITH …  to follow Christ all the way to glory?  Oh, how I’m calling you to jump in, … the water’s fine; and Jesus is our LIFE GUARD.  

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for calling me to take the leap of faith to follow You.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … giving us the faith to follow You, Lord, all the way to Heaven … Amen
