My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Anne Cetas AT THIS LINK        tells of Betty, a 102 year old woman, … a former-pastor’s widow,  … in her church who inspires many of their church members with her vigilant attendance in church - every Sunday service - as well as Betty’s continual service to the Lord by praying or others and serving the church (i.e., The Lord) in many ways.

Betty is ready - and waiting - for Christ’s return; and her life calls out to all of us - with her dedicated service to the Lord - to BE READY ourselves for our Lord coming back.   I have to confess that I can do more - MUCH MORE - to be ready for Jesus’ return.   How about you?

My Thanksgiving:Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for using me as a Temple to prepare for Your coming again, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … that we prepare ourselves for Your return today, Lord … and again tomorrow.   … Amen
