My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Lisa M Samra … AT THIS LINK         … wrote about Phillis Wheatley, the earliest published African-American poet, who was freed from slavery in 1773; … and  fighting for abolition of slavery, she wrote, … ”In every human Breast, God has implanted a Principle, which we call Love of Freedom; … It is impatient of Oppression, and pants for Deliverance; and . . . the same Principle lives in us.” 

And that principle is espoused strongly by God’s word, some references of which are shared above in the Highlight and Reference Scriptures.   Please take the time to take in …  and meditate on … the linked song and the Scriptures shared above and see if, like I am, you are convicted to do more in our lives to show the world that - ALL TOGETHER - we, who are truly in Christ,  can do more to show that Christ lives in all who’ve surrendered to receive God’s saving grace.  I have!   How about you?
