My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … uses the generosity of a wealthy African professional soccer player from Senegal who reported to he press that he could not live with himself if he desired expensive cars and other worldly items and ignore the poor people in his home country. So, this wealthy athlete gave generously to help others in his native land.
And the ODB story, as well as the linked song and the Scriptures shared above, are calling me to be more available and generous to reach out and give my hand to lift others up (again, see photo) just as God’s word, and especially God’s Spirit, calls me to help others. How about you?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for calling me to share Your enabling grace and love with others.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … calling us to be more available to reach out and help others who need Your enabling grace. … Amen
