My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Mike Wittmer … AT THIS LINK       … related a story of a father, Steve, who was going out to do some work with his chainsaw; and Steve’s son called out to his dad, carrying his toy chainsaw, declaring, . “Wait for me, Dad! I want to come!”  And tho his son would be no real help, (see photo) Steve was delighted to have his son desiring to imitate and be with his dad.. 

And today’s ODB entry, as well as the Scriptures above, call attention to the truth that we, who have surrendered to follow and grow to be like our Lord and Heavenly Father, should be desiring to work and imitate our Heavenly Father in all we do.  But are we?  

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me Your Spirit, Lord, to reshape me into Your image.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … as we as we go out to do Your work TOGETHER with Your Spirit today.  … Amen
