July 16, 2025 :… More Like Him Today

Devotional Song ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to hear music and lyrics with Zach Williams  singing… Less Like Me,  calling Christians to become more like Jesus every day.

Highlight Passage:… 1Corinthians 12:2 … [NLT] …

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Paul calls for fellow Christians to surrender and allow God’s Spirit to transform them (us) into His images.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Karen Pimpo  AT THIS LINK      told of how her dental hygienist taught her that fluoride had been introduce into he water of their city in 1945 and had had a measured positive effect on reducing dental cavities in the region>.   And the ODB author thought that research finding illustrates however what we consume and practice in our lives has a lasting and permanent effect on how we live.

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and especially God’s word, shared above, I’m praying that we all see that if we report to love Jesus as Lord and Savior, that we are doing what the authors of Scripture (and certainly God’s Spirt) calls us to do by following Christ in our lives.  I come here EVERY morning to let my Lord’s word guide me in my prayers and the way I live.  Are we all imitating Christ with our lives as the Apostles Paul and John did (see 1Cor 11;1 and 1John 2:6),  I pray so!!

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for leading me to become like You.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for leading us to become more like You, Lord, today .. and tomorrow!   … Amen
