My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Kirsten Holmberg … AT THIS LINK        … related a true story of a friend, … Diana, … who sustained a brain tumor which affected Diana’s vision and needed to be removed.  But Diana was concerned the surgery would effect her ability to sing.  So, the surgeon had Diana sing during the surgery to make sure that the removal of the tumor would not damage her ability to sing to God.  The surgeon and Diana were remarkably recorded singing a duet during th surgery.

I believe we can easily imagine Diana’s gratefulness to God for God’s goodness and healing grace, … giving her Neurosurgeon the ability to remove that tumor and allow Diana to continue on singing praises to God for His goodness … just as Cece Winans sings in the linked song and all my readers read of in the Scriptures shared above.  Personally, I find it gratifying to be able to come to this quiet place EACH MORNING to thank God for HIs mercy, … for His goodness, … and for His enabling grace.  How about You?  Can you join me to join with Sister Cece in singing of God’s goodness.   Oh, how I pray you can!!        

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for providing me, and my fellow Christians, with Your goodness and grace … EVERY DAY, Lord!

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for giving us, … Your faithful, …  all we need to sing Your praises today and then again tomorrow. … Amen
