My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Unpublished online - Karen Huang  … AT THIS LINK      … wrote about a friend, Nora, whose husband died and she had to take over the family hardware business and take care of her three children … on her own.   Her friends would often say, “Be strong;” .but Nora didn’t know exactly how to do that.   … 

Sometimes life circumstance can be overwhelming and we feel weak to take them on.  That’s what the ODB author wrote about today, making reference to how God’s people had become weak in following God’s ways; and when they cried out for help (see the Highlight passage), God’s strength - and His Spirit - fell upon a Judge to show them God’s way and His strength.   

And that is what we must do; … and that is to seek and rely on God’s strength as Steven Curtis Chapman sings and God’s word proclaims and assures in the Scriptures provided above.  Take them in and be lifted up like I was this morning.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for affirming Your strength when I’m feeling weak.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for ALWAYS being there for us when we need Your strength.  … Amen
