Highlight Passage (in context) … 2Kings 8:1-6 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …
… God’s word relays the remarkable true story of Elisha, who helped bring a woman’s son back from the dead and how Elisha also helped the woman to avoid a seven-year flood. My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Huang … AT THIS LINK … related a true story about a young man, named Dante, who lived in a flood-prone region of Manila, relating how a man named Mr. Tomas, in that area, helped Dante and others get around to avoid the flooding. Years later, when Dante joined a church, a Bible teacher named, Leo, became Dante’s teacher and mentor; and Dante, in getting to know Leo, learned that Leo was Mr. Tomas’ son. … No coincidence; … just God’s wonderful providence.
And today’s ODB entry shares God’s truth, thru His word, that teaches us that God, being our omnipotent God, will make a way, as the linked song sings, even where there seems to be no way; … and that The Lord is ALWAYS in control and ALWAYS will be there to lift us up when we surrender in faith to allow Him to be our loving and caring Lord. … Luck?! … No way!!
