My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Elisa Morgan … AT THIS LINK …relates how social researchers discovered that children in a school without playground boundaries tended to gather in clusters close to the school during recess. However, when fences were placed around the playground area (see photo), the children ventured away from the school, inside the fences, and interacted more freely.
The research and playground fencing actually provided the children more freedom to play than when there were no clear-cut boundaries; and it illustrated, for the ODB author, why God has provided clear-cut boundaries for His children, ,,, i.e., what is outlined in the Highlight and Reference passages above. We have God’s freedom to roam with His security when we - His chosen children - see and observe His boundaries, … found in His word.
Personally, that’s why you find me, here every day, seeking God’s will, thru the fencing of His word, and playing freely within the boundaries He provides for me as one of His children. How about you? Do you feel free to play in God’s playground today?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for tor giving me Your fences, found in Your word, for me to play freely during Your designated recess time that we call “LIFE.”
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … Lord. …for giving Your children clear fences to play freely during the recess time that we have in life. … Amen
