My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Winn Collier, uses a true story of victory over fears to illustrate how we can depend on the Lion of Judah for our protection. … The ODB author wrote: When was the last time you felt compelled to help someone, only to let the moment pass without a response? In The 10-Second Rule, Clare De Graaf [see photo] suggests that daily impressions can be one of the ways God calls us to a deeper spiritual walk, a life of obedience prompted by love for Him. The 10-Second Rule encourages you to simply “do the next thing you’re reasonably certain Jesus wants you to do,” and to do it right away “before you change your mind.”
Well, if any reader here has been willing to take in the linked song and the ODB entry piece … as well as meditated on the Scriptures above, we all should be convicted that we, as Christ’s disciples who love Him, MUST be committed to following Him into an abiding relationship, by seeking out His will and following His ways thru His word. And in doing to, we’ll all be able to apply the 10-second rule referred to in the ODB entry for today.
I pray we do so … TODAY … and TOMORROW!!
