My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Monica LaRose, uses a personal story to illustrate how, in Christ, we need to seek after a love that has no fear to show the world the love of Christ. … The ODB author wrote: My three-year old niece, Jenna, has an expression that never fails to melt my heart. When she loves something (really loves it), be it banana cream pie, jumping on the trampoline, or playing Frisbee, she’ll proclaim, “I love it—whole world!” (“whole world” accompanied with a dramatic sweep of her arms).
Sometimes I wonder, When’s the last time I’ve dared to love like that? With nothing held back, completely unafraid?
Oh if we could only just capture the heart of that little girl … by doing what The Judds sing in the linked song … to cast out our very human fears, … realizing that we are called by Christ [see John 13], to share HIS love with the WHOLE WORLD (see photo and the highlight passage).
The question is … can we - and WILL WE - do it today?
