My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Peter Chin, uses the biblical story of Ruth and Boaz to show that even a simple love story [see highlight passage] is part of God’s grand design to save His people from themselves. … The ODB author wrote: One of the few books of the Bible that doesn’t record God directly saying or doing anything, the book of Ruth could seem to be pretty ordinary. So some read it as a touching but largely human drama of two people coming together in a relationship.
If any reader here is born again in Christ, you and I have a story of incredible restoration, redemption, and renewal which was set in motion before time began for God’s glory [see Eph. 2:10] . The question is not whether we have a story, but rather whether that story is playing out for God’s glory or our own personal desires.
And I’m here, praying today that each and every one reading here desires to share a story, a testimony, with others of how all things in our lives are working together for our good and God’s glory. [see Rom. 8:28 and 2Cor. 5:17]

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here will join me today, to look for opportunities to share our redemption story with others. … Amen
