My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon, AT THIS LINK … tells of a time when she was fearful of a medical condition and while walking on a beach and looking out at the raging waves crashing against the rocks; and seeing a sea turtle frolicking in the waves (see photo), the ODB author realized that God was in control of EVERYTHING, giving her a moment of peace.
And if you believe, as I do, in the truth of the Scriptures above, all we have to do is look around at creation, as Gordon Mote sings in the linked song, and find peace in God’s incomparable creation. We need not fear - really ANYTHING - do we? No, three’s no need for fear, because our God shows off His glorious control of everything in His creation, including our lives.
So, let’s all take a few moments today, my fellow - perhaps fearful - Christian, and see, in God’s creation, … shaped by Him for us, … that we can trust Him today - <u>and all days</u>, … because He made all we see in His creation for our joy and His glory.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, King Jesus, … for reminding me of Your glory as I see your sun (and YOUR SON) rise this morning.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to contemplate God’s glory and His sovereign control over our lives. … Amen
