… Paul encourages fellow Christians to become shining lights in a dark world by living as Christ lived.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt, AT THIS LINK …   remembers and reflects on what it was like to see the wonders of God’s stars in the heavens as the ODB author and her dad looked into the starry night sky with a telescope (see photo).     

And then the ODB writer reflects on the word picture of Christians become shining lights by following Christ, with God’s Light shining within us, as Chris Tomlin sings in the linked song, glorifying God in an ever darkening world.  Jesus declared over and over - see Scriptures above - that He was the Light of the World and only by following His Messianic light could we come out of the darkness of the flesh and this world to walk in the Light of Life. 

And oh how I pray that all reading here with me are seeking out and shining Christ’s light by the way we live and by showing others how to come out of the darkness of the world into the Light of Life provided by our Savior. 

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your light to follow in this world. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to become shining lights by following Christ’s light to come out of the darkness of this world.  … Amen
