My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Monica La Rose, AT THIS LINK … writes of a hotel in Jerusalem which was operated by the Israeli government during the COVID19 pandemic, where all who resided in the hotel were confirmed COVID positive patients. The people residing in the Hotel Dan, renamed the residence, “Hotel Carona.” And, during those dark times, it was discovered that Palestinian and Jewish peoples were able to not only “get along,” but became friends (see photo). It was surmised that the common bond of fighting off the virus became more important than past religious differences, which speaks to what could be the result if everyone could have the common bond of being “IN CHRIST.”
Think about it !! What would it be like in this world if everyone was tested “positive" from the “infection” of a common belief in Christ as LORD and SAVIOR? The bonding would be as Jesus wrote about in John 14&15 [see above]; … or … as Paul wrote about in the Pauling scriptures above. It would be like Chris Tomlin sings ”Together” in the linked song.
Oh, that’s my prayer for all who read here with me today; … that we’ve all tested POSITIVE for a new pandemic - that of surrendering our lives to Christ … TOGETHER FOREVER !!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for letting me share in the “infection” of Your saving grace which infuses me with Your love.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to live like we all are “infected” by Your love and grace today. … Amen
