My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Amy Boucher Pie … AT THIS LINK   tell of a young couple, living in a country hostile to Christians, who were charged for being Christians but somewhat mysteriously delivered by a judge who quoted from the books of Daniel and Jonah as he released them from jail, …the couple ultimately finding freedom in another country.

And then the ODB author made reference to the story of Daniel in the lion’s den (see photo) and other biblical examples (see Scriptures above) to help all readers to see that we need not fear the evil darkness in this world because our God has - and will - deliver us from any who might persecute or even execute those who really believe in our Lord as our Savior.

Oh how I pray you agree with and believe God’s promises of deliverance in His word above and realize that, just as He delivered Daniel from the lions, our Lord will deliver us to be with Him forever in glory.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being my deliverer.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … in thank You, Lord, for giving us the strength to deal with the evil in this world as our strong deliverer.     Amen
