For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author , Winn Collier -  AT THIS LINK -   tells the story of a Scottish Pastor in a horse-drawn carriage, traveling down a dangerous road along a steep cliff and noting the carriage driver cracking a whip to help the horses attend to the road and not the precipice ahead.

And that’s a life picture of what we need to do when we face a dangerous road ahead; and that is to put our attention and focus on God rather than our own trying situation.   And if my readers today have taken in the linked song and on truth of the Scriptures above, we will see that God promises His peace when we attend to God’s promises and not on our trying times.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your peace when I surrender to follow You.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to focus our thoughts on Your peace, Lord, as we see the dangerous road ahead. … Amen
