My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread   Author, Bill Crowder -  AT THIS LINK -   relates how visitors to the UK will find plaques all over the country honoring the British history; and one such plaque found in a B&B, mocking those history plaques, reads,  “On this site, Sept. 5, 1782, nothing happened.”

But that plaque might be on display in the hearts of Christians who pray to God but feel that the Lord has abandoned them (see photo).  Every been there?  I sure have, … BUT … and there’s always a “but,” isn’t there?  ”BUT,”  if you’ve joined me to take in the linked song and the Scriptures above, … God’s word clearly gives us assurance that our God will NEVER leave or forsake those who wait on Him faithfully.  And Jesus (see Matt 11:28-30) even promises to give His strength to any/all who’re feeling weak and alone today.

And I needed that assurance of God’s truth today; … how about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your enabling grace of assurance of Your presence and power today … JUST FOR ME!

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to trust in Your assurance of Your presence/power today, Lord.     Amen
