My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Tim Gustafson - AT THIS LINK - wrote of the controversy surrounding the meaning of Otto Preminger’s allegorical film in 1960 titled “Exodus,” which ended with a young murdered couple buried together in the same grave, … one a Jew and another an Arab. The controversy was whether the burial symbolized God burying the dream of God’s final eating place or a hopeful symbol of God bring all believers, Jews and Gentile, TOGETHER. in God’s final resting.
Personally, taking in the linked song and the Scriptures above, I believe that Preminger symbolized the ultimate reality … that God will rest forever in glory in The Lord’s final abode in the heavenly glory of Zion, The New Jerusalem, in heaven. And for my fellow believers and readers, . do you join me in this optimism? Will you be with me there in Zion?
My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to go Home to be with You in glory, Lord.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to follow You, Lord, all the way to be with You in the glorious home You’re preparing for us in Zion. … Amen
