My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Matt Lucas -  AT THIS LINK  -  related a story about new believers in a poor state in northeast India who have a tradition of giving a “handful of rice” (see photo) as a sign of being willing to give generously lo the Church; and that poor area of Christians have given millions and sent many missionaries to support the sharing of the Gospel in India.    

And the ODB story and today’s linked song (above) challenge fellow Christians to give sacrificially and generously to help those in need in God’s kingdom.  But as the linked song asks, … Are we giving as we are called to by God’s word?                                

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to give generously for Your Kingdom, Lord.                      

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... .Again, I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to reach out and give sacrificially to help the needy, Lord, in Your kingdom.         … Amen
