My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Bill Crowder  …  USE THS LNK -        wrote of fantasizing, in his youth, of the adventures of pirates, dreaming of their strength of purpose.  But when the ODB author grew up, he realized that His strength and purpose came from his faith in Christ … to which he needed to grow and build that faith.

Personally, as I took in the ODB entry for today (linked above) and was nurtured in faith by the linked song and Scriptures, I was convicted that, even in my 80s, I need to keep growing in my faith to be able to have the strength to resist our spiritual enemies.  After my readers hat taken in today’s song and Scriptures, do you agree that we need to grow, as Peter wrote (in 2Peter 3:18 - linked above), in the knowledge and grace given to us by God’s Spirit? …  Are you with me, seeking to grow in faith through God’s word?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for giving me Your word as Your manual on how to grow in faith.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... Thank You, Lord, for giving all of us Your word to help us grow in faith.  … Amen
